6 Days Tanzania Mid-range Safari

Pick up from your accommodation in Arusha town at 0800hrs and proceed to Tarangire National Park for wildlife watching. Take your lunch at the park picnic area around 1300 hours, then travel to your lodge for dinner and sleep.

Drive to the Serengeti National Park after breakfast, passing through the lovely high rising farms of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, you will travel into the heart of wild Africa – the Seronera region, one of the richest animal habitats in the park, containing the Seronera River, which supplies a vital water source to this area and so attracts wildlife representative of most Serengeti species. You will arrive in time for a picnic lunch and a wildlife drive in the Serengeti National Park in the afternoon.

We begin our 5 Days Tanzania Big Cats Safari with a wildlife watching drive along the Sogore River Circuit, which swings into the plains south of the Seronera River and is ideal for probable sightings of Lion, Thomson gazelle, topi, ostrich, and cheetah.In the afternoon, you will do the Kopjes Circuit, which runs anti-clockwise around the Maasai Kopjes, which are known to attract lions and big cobras.

safari will start with an early breakfast at your lodge before you leave for morning game sightings. At midday, you will enjoy your picnic lunch thereafter you will continue with afternoon animal sightings as you drive to the Ngorongoro crater rim for an overnight stay.

The day will begin early with a descent below the crater floor for a fantastic morning of wildlife in one of the most beautiful sites on the planet. Following the wildlife drive, there will be time for a picnic lunch at Hippo Lake.
After lunch, you’ll continue on a brief wildlife drive before ascending the crater and leaving the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Arusha.

Today we drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a full day of game drive inside the park. This is one of Tanzania’s small national parks but still offers a rewarding and diverse safari experience.

Here you expect to see the lake shore flooded with birds like Flamingos, ducks and other water birds. At Manyara there is also forest with underground water where you might spot large mammals like elephants, Antelopes and more than 100 species of birds. There is also Savanna woodland which you might see wildebeest Zebras and Giraffes.
