5 Days Classic Tanzania Tour
On this 5 Days Classic Tanzania Tour Safari, The highlights of the Northern Safari Circuit can be seen during this tour. We’ll see incredible wildlife in a variety of environments, including elephants among the acacias, lions in the trees, monkeys in the forest, and a wide range of other creatures inside a collapsed volcano. A 3 million animal Serengeti will also be visited by us. The finest chance to see cheetahs, leopards, and lions in their natural habitat is on these breathtaking grassy plains.
Day1 : Arrival in Arusha
On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK) which caters to domestic flights, you will be met by a Kitau Tanzania Safaris representative who will drive you to your accommodation in Arusha. Overnight will be at the Ilboru Safari Lodge, which is a calm lodge located in the suburbs of the city with a natural setup with a beautiful garden awaiting your safari the following day.
Day2 : Tarangire National Park
After breakfast at your accommodation in Arusha, depart for Tarangire National Park. It is Tanzania’s third-largest national park and sanctuary for an unusually large elephant population. Majestic baobab trees are an interesting feature of the park, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. Animals concentrate along the Tarangire River, which provides the only permanent water supply in the area. There is a great diversity of wildlife including lions, leopards, cheetahs, and up to six thousand elephants. You’ll enjoy game drives with a picnic lunch. After lunch and an extensive game drive inside the park, we will drive straight to your accommodation for dinner and your overnight stay.
Day3 : Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for game viewing. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the largest unbroken calderas on the planet with over 25,000 wild creatures in the caldera. It has more pride per capita than anywhere on earth. The Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtakingly beautiful setting and the best place in East Africa to see the Big Five, lions, leopards, black rhinos, elephants, and buffalo. It is one of the world’s most astonishing and the 8th Wonders of the World and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The black rhino can easily be sighted in the crater. Think of another place in the world where you can see such a unique setting with diverse scenery, prolific wildlife, and birdlife, it’s an ecosystem like no other. In the afternoon, ascend the crater and drive straight to Serengeti to your accommodation for dinner and your overnight stay.
Day4 : Serengeti National Park
Early in the morning after breakfast, you will continue exploring the vast Serengeti with its endless plains looking for the big cats. The Serengeti hosts the largest mammal migration in the world and is a popular destination for African safaris. It is the migration for which Serengeti is perhaps most famous. Over a million wildebeest and about 200,000 zebras flow south from the northern hills to the southern plains for the short rains every October and November. They’ll then swirl west and north after the long rains in April, May, and June. So strong is the ancient instinct to move that no drought, gorge, or crocodile-infested river can hold them back. After lunch, you will drive straight to your accommodation in Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day5 : Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha
After breakfast at your accommodation, drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a game-viewing drive with lunch. The park’s varied habitat attracts a wide variety of African animals, including one of Africa’s largest concentrations of elephants and Manyara’s famous tree-climbing lions. You’ll also see large flocks of flamingos, attracted by the algae in the lake. You will have lunch at a picnic site and afterward, further game viewing. Later, you’ll drive back to Arusha or the airport and depart to your next destination.
