4 Days Tanzania Camping Safari

DAY 1: ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

You’ll be picked up from  Arusha hotel at 8:30 am and head for Tarangire National Park for a full-day wildlife drive. As you reach the national park Tarangire is a small park which offers some excellent sights. Generally in the dry seasons, Tarangire comes alive as wildlife and birdlife congregate on the Tarangire River, which is a permanent source of water. magnificent forests of Acacia and Mahogany trees set the tone for what’s to come. The game drive will go on till the evening, with a brief stop for a lunch. While on the wildlife drive, keep an eye out for buffaloes, giraffes, impalas, baboons, and blue monkeys. The elephant herds are another attraction of Tarangire National Park, although locating them is a matter of chance. During the correct season, the beach becomes pink as millions of
Dinner and your overnight stay will be at a Campsite.

DAY 2: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, we will depart for the Serengeti National Park, passing through the stunning high-lying farms of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the mountains behind, we will descend into the Serengeti, the heart of untamed Africa, with its boundless grasslands stretching into the horizon as far as the eye can see. We will travel to the Seronera part of the park, one of the richest animal habitats in the park. It features the Seronera River, which supplies a vital water source to this area and attracts wildlife representative of most Serengeti species. We will arrive in time for lunch and then go on a wildlife drive in the Serengeti National Park in the afternoon.
Dinner and your overnight stay are at a Campsite.

DAY 3: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK TO NGORONGORO CRATER

Before traveling to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, we will start the day with an early morning wildlife drive in Serengeti. Ngorongoro is unique in that it is a Conservation Region rather than a National Park, which means that the entire area is maintained for the animals as well as the Maasai people who graze their cattle among the indigenous species. During our trip through Ngorongoro, we get a peek at the Maasai way of life. We’ll travel around the rim of the Crater itself, where we can gaze down and observe the herd of wildebeest or buffalos, after stopping at the entrance gate to learn more about this unique volcanic terrain. This truly world-class attraction is also known as the ’8th Wonder of the World’. Our dinner and overnight stay are at a Campsite.

DAY 4: NGORONGORO CRATER

You will have a morning breakfast and afterward, you will descend to Ngorongoro Crater floor. Here you will be able to see all of the Big Five. You will also see different types of birds and black rhinos.
Later, after hours of game drive inside the crater floor, you will start ascending from the crater passing through the campsite for your lunch and after you will pack all your luggage inside the jeep ready to drive back to Arusha for your overnight stay or airport transfer.
